1. Our approach
Leave on Time does not use accounts, advertising, in-app purchases, subscriptions, analytics, or tracking. The developer does not receive or collect the plans, location, presets, or history you enter in the app.
The app is offered as a one-time paid download through the App Store. Apple processes the purchase and payment, and the developer does not receive your payment-card details.
2. Information stored on your device
To provide its features, the app stores your arrival date and time, preparation duration, manually entered travel duration, buffer duration, travel mode, reminder setting, preparation-time presets, short notes, and recent plans on your iPhone.
For places selected through Apple Maps, the app stores the Place ID that Apple permits apps to persist. It does not store place names, addresses, coordinates, route geometry, distance, MapKit travel-time estimates, or recommended departure times in the app's UserDefaults or history.
You can remove history and presets in the app and clear a note in its input field. Removing the app also removes information stored in its app container from your iPhone.
3. Apple Maps and location
The app uses Apple's MapKit and Core Location for place search, map display, routes, and travel-time estimates. It requests When In Use location permission only when you choose your current location as the origin, and uses that location to calculate the route. The developer does not receive or store your current location.
Apple may process information to provide these services. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details. You can use origin search or manual travel time without granting current-location access.
4. Reminders
The app requests notification permission only when you choose to set reminders. Preparation and departure reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. When a MapKit estimate is active, the departure reminder uses the same date as MapKit's recommended departure date, and the preparation trigger is calculated from that departure date. iOS retains these trigger dates and the notification content until the reminders are delivered, canceled in the app, or updated after the plan changes. The app does not write the MapKit ETA response or recommended departure date to its UserDefaults or history. The app does not use remote notifications, an APNs token, or a developer server, and you can change permission at any time in iOS Settings.
5. This support site
This site does not use cookies, JavaScript, contact forms, advertising, analytics, or tracking pixels. Cloudflare, which delivers the site, may process network information such as an IP address as needed to deliver and secure the service. The developer has not installed separate visitor analytics.
6. Support email
If you email support, the developer receives your sender address, message, and anything you choose to attach. We use that information only to reply, investigate the issue, and prevent abuse. We do not sell it or share it for advertising. We aim not to retain it longer than reasonably needed for support and legal obligations. You may request deletion at the address below.
7. Children's privacy
The app is not designed primarily for children and does not ask users of any age to create an account or enter personal information.
8. Changes to this policy
If features or legal requirements change, we will update this page and its effective date. If data handling changes materially, we will also provide any notice required in the app or its store information.
